Our Provision

Our work is guided by empathy and a deep understanding of our learners. We support students in developing their life, academic, and social skills. We take pride in recognising each student’s individual needs and knowing how best to support them in their learning and day-to-day experiences.

While our daily timetable may change during special events or activities, we maintain a consistent structure to help our students feel secure and supported. As shown in our class schedule, this routine provides predictability throughout the day.

We use a wide range of classroom strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring that every learner receives the support they need to succeed. Our teaching approach incorporates a variety of methods, such as scaffolding learning, teaching backwards methods, and breaking tasks into manageable steps to build confidence and independence. We also use visual supports, modelling, guided practice, and explicit instruction to help students understand new concepts in ways that work best for them.

In addition, we integrate multi-sensory learning, positive reinforcement, and individualised regulation tools to support engagement and emotional well-being. By combining these approaches, we create a flexible, supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Each of our programs is individualised to meet students’ support needs and abilities. Through these programs, students develop confidence, strengthen academic skills, learn to regulate their emotions, and build social skills that are valuable both in school and beyond. We are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment where every learner can flourish.

We work with our students across a range of subjects, including English and Maths. We also collaborate with schools to support students in completing their GCSE options, helping them pursue courses that align with their interests and goals.

Alongside the core subjects, we explore other areas such as Science, History, and Geography. We also focus on students’ individual interests and use AQA Short Courses to provide qualifications in subjects they enjoy, including:

  • Childcare

  • Art

  • Music

  • Gaming

  • Computing

  • PSHE

  • Football and Sport

  • And many more

In addition, we offer ASDAN qualifications, which help students develop post-16 learning skills, life skills, and academic abilities. These programs give students opportunities to grow in confidence, independence, and practical knowledge, preparing them for life beyond school.
