At P.A.S.T Ways we know that referrals need to be made and accepted quickly and efficiently. We can ensure that your referral is completed in as little or as much time as needed.
We receive referrals from numerous organisations, usually from Mainstream Secondary Schools, Local Authorities and Social Care.
We understand that the referral process can be overwhelming for both the referring school/organisation and the student and their parents/carers. That's why we want to make it as smooth as possible for everyone involved.
Here are the steps we usually take:
We welcome the initial contact from the referring school/organization and are happy to assist in any way we can.
We invite students and their parents/carers to visit P.A.S.T Ways and meet our friendly staff, tour the building, and ask any questions they may have.
Once the referral form is completed and returned, we review it carefully and ensure we have all the necessary information.
We work with all parties involved to agree on a start date that suits everyone's needs, and then the placement begins.
Please remember that we are always willing to be flexible and adjust the process to meet your unique requirements. Our goal is to make the transition as easy and stress-free as possible for all involved.
